Red Dead Redemption 2 mod brings some iconic locations from its predecessor back into view with stunning new visuals, beautifully recreated.

Red Dead Redemption fans remain hopeful for additional western content, with speculation mounting about remasters/prequels of both Red Dead Redemption 1 & 2, possibly including Remastered edition of RDR3. Even voice actor of John Marston expressed interest in making an appearance if Rockstar Games decided on sequels/prequels of RDR3.

Make sure to look below at some of our favourite Red Dead Redemption 2 wins and fails, like those below.

Red Dead Redemption 2 has seen poor DLC support compared to Grand Theft Auto V since launch, particularly an Undead Nightmare mode! Fans have petitioned Rockstar for single player DLC for Red Dead Redemption 2, yet with its developers’ attention focused on Grand Theft Auto VI development efforts as well as requests from different projects or remasters; Rockstar seems spread thin.

Modding communities have come together to do what Rockstar Games cannot, adding content such as traversal methods, property management options and missions/bounties that Rockstar didn’t include – including faithful recreation of some key locations from Red Dead Redemption! One such mod reintroduces key Red Dead Redemption landmarks into Red Dead Online with one such mod faithfully replicating them all over again!

DickHertz has designed the Project New Austin: 1907 mod for RDR1 which adds new life and details into existing locations in-game, providing more realistic 1907 versions. Features peds and increased rider density as well as RDR1-accurate layouts featuring as much detail as possible.”

Results have been stunning and this mod does an exceptional job of adapting old locations into Red Dead Redemption 2-style areas. Unfortunately, we’re sad there hasn’t been an overall remaster of the first Red Dead Redemption game; with modern touches it would look fantastic!

As for now, Grand Theft Auto VI remains an eagerly anticipated game and we wait in anticipation. Unfortunately, no exact release date or reveal have yet been given; whatever its size though it will surely astonish fans when released officially!
