Street Fighter 6 has certainly impressed players with its amazing character designs, with much of the pre-release hype surrounding newcomers like Marisa and Manon becoming fan favourites almost immediately upon being unveiled as characters in-game. Manon in particular was particularly well received, given her blend of balletic elegance with brutal throws inspired by Judo techniques; an effect which fans found hard not to love!
Manon adds an elegant spin to traditional fighting game gameplay by taking a unique grappling style approach. Her throws may lack Zangief’s physical might but still deliver devastating hits; she can quickly grind your bones to dust without hesitation! On Chapter 7-3, head over to Beat Square where Manager Oscar can be found trying to recruit “tall, beautiful boys”. You quickly volunteer, only for him to inform you that these participants need a Judo Gi. Without it, no headfirst collision!
Finding your Judo Gi is relatively straightforward; however, without knowledge of where to look it could quickly become daunting for some players. Head down to Drippin’ Style clothing shop located next to Oscar and purchase both Gi (Top and Gi Bottom pieces), equipping them on either your equipment or appearance loadouts as soon as you are dressed for the occasion (be mindful not to edit its colour though, Oscar does not recognize other gis). When dressed, speak back up so he knows you are off the France road so Manon (and her pavement) await you!
Once you arrive in France and watch the opening cutscene, you’ll be faced with three extras from Manon’s film who pose challenges for you to overcome. After defeating them and engaging in some conversations with them, Manon herself awaits in an standard match against you; be wary of her throws as these could prove costly! With some backup items handy should disaster strike!
Once you’ve defeated Manon, she may agree to become your master and teach you her techniques for tossing people like discuses.
