Zelda players have already begun discussing potential DLC ideas for Tears of the Kingdom DLC pack.
Since Tears of the Kingdom released last month, Legend of Zelda fans have spent considerable effort exploring Hyrule and all it offers them.
While some players have dedicated their time and attention to completing quests, objectives, and challenges, many seem more drawn by the allure of creating and sharing interesting contraptions which can unleash waves of destruction or help solve platforming puzzles, making travel simpler.
While neither approach has exhausted their full range of possibilities yet, some hardcore Hylians on Reddit appear eager for what could come to the game in future updates – having begun discussing hopes for its DLC releases.
What do you hope for in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom’s DLC?
These expansion-related expectations from members of the community that has created Hylian Segways and killer Beyblades can be found in a recent thread started on r/tearsofthekingdom by user Snoo-76854 who asked: “[Have you any] hopes/wishes/ideas for [its] DLC?”
Respondents seem to indicate they’ve already spent considerable time considering how the game should change going forward; one user, for instance, noted: “[There’s] plenty of space above Lookout Landing that would benefit from some [new] Sky Islands; that area seems neglected and vacant.”
User Vincentdmartin suggested adding two temples – one forest temple and a shadow temple with Korok and Sheikah Sages — while user rainbownator96 suggested “an add-on like Hearthfire that allows players to customise or expand on houses they get near Tarrey Town would also be welcome.
Other players expressed that any potential DLC should focus on character-driven story telling, with user YaBiFish6 calling out, “Bring back Kass!” while wheatleyscience9 had this to say about Dinraal, Naydra and Farosh: “I would really love for any DLC to focus on their identities rather than dropping an allusion like dragonification and expecting us not to wonder about those present since Breath of the Wild!”
User KnittingRN provided several suggestions in their response: “[I’d like] more story [but since I still haven’t completed the main storyline], something similar to Breath of the Wild’s Trial of the Sword event and more tough shrines like those found within DLC and maybe another dungeon – whatever their dev team comes up with!”
