Final Fantasy XIV June 5, Maintenance Schedule.

On June 5, Final Fantasy XIV servers will experience another disruption after May’s patch that introduced new bugs that have yet to be addressed by maintenance – though hopefully, this time it won’t last as long! Server maintenance is inevitable for an MMO like Final Fantasy XIV; hopefully however it won’t affect play too heavily during maintenance periods like this one.

Server maintenance on June 5 will impact all Worlds and Data Centers simultaneously, meaning every region will experience downtime for an undetermined length of time. During this blackout window, hotfixes to the game should likely include hotfixes for known bugs relating to desynthesize/repair usage during battle that prevent knockback effects being used by enemies; as well as another issue concerning The Voidcast Dais’ Knockback mechanic which should hopefully also get resolved during maintenance.

At 11pm PDT, game maintenance will commence and is anticipated to return four hours later. Here is the maintenance schedule broken out by region:

United States of America: Pacific Time (PDT) runs from 11pm to 3am; Central Time (CDT) 1am-5am and Eastern Time (EDT) from 2am-6am; Europe/New Zealand / Asia: CEST = Central European Summer Time = 8am-12pm = 18hrs to 18hrs30 for each timezone and JST (3 pm-7 pm);
Australian Eastern Time (AET): 4pm to 8pm
Players should expect this hotfix to be the final one until Patch 6.45 is released – which has no set release date in sight, giving fans of Final Fantasy XIV plenty of uninterrupted service until new content comes their way!
