Final Fantasy XIV’s New Motorbike Mount Could Debut at Fan Fest 2023
Final Fantasy XIV’s hunt for all its mounts can seem endless; even once players have amassed all past mounts from Trials, Dungeons, PvP battles, or otherwise; Square Enix keeps adding more. Take this new mount that just started appearing online!
Olivia Yuki first introduced us to Olivia Yuki’s Garlond GL-IS mount when it made its debut on YouTube channel. It is a magitek motorcycle equipped with an additional sidecar; interestingly enough though, its first rider already belongs to us: our pal from Omega raid series Alpha is sitting comfortably inside it! Alpha makes his familiar “kweh kweh” sounds while riding along. While Alpha takes up residence inside Alpha takes over his seat there should still be room on Olivia Yuki’s rider seat for another passenger!
Since FFXIV Collect and Gamer Escape have both seen this mount appear, its source remains unknown; speculation points toward Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festival 2023 due to datamined mount background track that references “Fanfest2023”, prompting people to speculate that Mog Station might offer this mount during Fast Fest 2023.
Garlond GL-IS is the counterpart to Garlond GL-II, an armored magitek motorcycle available via Island Sanctuary. Players could obtain that mount by paying 24,000 Seafarer’s Cowries from Horrendous Hoarder NPC at Island Sanctuary for purchase from Horrendous Hoarder NPC on Island Sanctuary. While fans wait for more concrete information regarding this mount’s release date and price points, players could look into unlocking Traveling Supporter or Magicked Children’s Bed mounts instead.
