Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty expansion release date confirmed

At last! After months of anticipation and speculation, Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty expansion finally made an appearance! And we even know its release date!

Phantom Liberty of Cyberpunk 2077 was announced last year and described as a spy thriller, set during 2077’s New United States of America setting. As V, players will team up with Solomon Reed (Idris Elba from Game Awards back in December) to solve high-profile cases together; Keanu Reeves returns as Johnny Silverhand! Today marks an historic night as CD Projekt RED unveiled their project at tonight’s Xbox Showcase event!

Phantom Liberty will finally hit shelves on 26 September and CDPR revealed that V and Reed will investigate the shooting down of President of the New United States of America’s orbital shuttle over Night City’s most lethal district, Dogtown. Your choices could have an effect on how this mystery unravels which makes for an exciting prospect, plus we should meet plenty of memorable characters as we discover this mysterious area! I expect plenty of chaos!

As reported earlier this week, Cyberpunk 2077’s expansion will cost EUR29.99 across Europe while UK gamers can grab it for PS24.99 or those in the US will pay $29.99 – as would be expected of course; though digital storefronts appear to offer bundle deals if this game has yet to be experienced by you – GAMINGbible’s Ewan has had hands-on time with it and praise for both DLC packages he played!

Cyberpunk 2077’s sequel will soon arrive; currently codenamed Project Orion and scheduled to enter research and development early next year by CDPR’s Boston and Vancouver offices.
