Free Games Round-up for June 17: All free titles across Steam, PS4 and Xbox
Welcome back for another exciting week of free games roundup! Over the last month or two we have seen plenty of action-packed gaming happening with events like PlayStation Showcase, Summer Game Fest, Ubisoft Forward and Xbox Games Showcase showing us what we can look forward to over coming months and years.
Join me as I round up some of this week’s best free games available through Steam! From wild west action-adventure Ashes to Ashes all the way down to nostalgia platformer Bee-Man there should be something fun in store! From Death Roads and Street Sense 2 Grand Emprise titles such as Their Land to Bunker Builder Cat-aclysm Exorsite Force of Nature 2 Bee-Man Untamed Tactics Cosmic Coliseum; there should be something here that meets everyone’s taste – guaranteed.
Ebenezer and The Invisible World can now be enjoyed for free via Steam’s demo version; take a look below at how this game plays!
At present, Steam, PlayStation and Xbox users can all take advantage of a multi-platform freebie: Lies of P, which will launch later this year, is currently playable as a demo on all three platforms for free – and PS5 users have an opportunity to test out an approximately two hour demo of Final Fantasy XVI before its imminent release – giving you time to evaluate whether it suits before spending money on its full version release.
Metroidvania Ebenezer and The Invisible World can now be played for free on Steam, and En Garde is scheduled for release later this summer. For those eagerly anticipating either Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade or Tekken 8 who’d like a preview before its official releases later in 2016, free playtest applications for either are open – these applications should take no time at all to fill out, with testing for Tekken 8 scheduled to commence next month so don’t delay signing up if interested!

Ubisoft Plus is offering a seven day free trial this week if you want to experience their subscription service first hand and see if it meets your needs. Just remember, after this seven day free trial you will be charged the monthly subscription fee so make sure that cancellation happens as quickly as possible; plus it gives access to both Assassin’s Creed and Far Cry games all together – great stuff.
Last but not least, let me provide you with an update on Xbox Games Pass updates. While updates were relatively sparse this past month, this week Dordogne arrived as an interactive narrative adventure title and may just provide something of interest for you to play! Hopefully we made it all the way through, hopefully something appealing awaits.
