As reported by Polygon, Shao Kahn will be played by Martyn Ford a British 6ft 8″ bodybuilder recently featured in Fast and Furious 9. Martyn looks perfect as Mortal Kombat’s primary villain!
Deadline reports that Desmond Chiam from “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” is set to star as King Jerrod of Edenian; Damon Herriman from “The Nightingale” as Quan Chi, Ana Thu Nguyen from Get Free (Queen Sindel) while Tati Gabrielle will play Jade.
At present, there hasn’t been any word regarding a release date of Mortal Kombat 2, though hopefully one should arrive by 2024 at least. Additionally, we recently experienced first hand what makes Mortal Kombat 1 such an engaging experience on videogame console.
