GTA 5 Update Adds New GTA 4 Content for Niko Fans
Rockstar Games continues to show their appreciation for GTA IV even 15 years later! They continue to improve it and add content.
Grand Theft Auto IV’s release for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2008 to widespread critical praise was met with immense excitement – as expected from Rockstar Games titles! Indeed, Grand Theft Auto IV remains one of the highest reviewed titles ever with PS3 and 360 users earning an astonishing score of 98 on Metacritic while PC users earned a score of 90 on Metacritic.
However, GTA IV wasn’t entirely received with praise due to Niko Belic’s cousin being present; as is expected for any Grand Theft Auto title there are various activities within its world of Liberty City for players to do whether that be through main story missions, side quests or dating; all part of making your return enjoyable!
But as soon as Roman Belic, Niko’s cousin, encountered you, he would constantly harass you on the phone to go play bowling, darts or pool. Even on your way to complete important missions he would pester you on your cell phone until he eventually convinced you otherwise – anyone familiar with GTA IV knows exactly what I mean here!
So let’s focus on something else instead – free GTA IV content has arrived with the GTA V update, according to TheGamer. Players can now take advantage of TheGamr’s report by collecting Niko’s outfit from GTA IV as well as Claude’s from GTA III; plus outfits for Michael Franklin Trevor in GTA V!
However, in order to unlock these outfits you must complete certain in-game tasks first. Niko needs to ‘Complete Tier 4 in 25 areas of Career Progress’ in order to acquire his outfit known as The Hired Gun; for Claude’s The Silent outfit ‘Complete Tier 4 in 20 areas of Career Progress’ is needed; oddly though there’s no Tommy Vercetti outfit from GTA Vice City available yet as they’re exclusive only on PS5 or Xbox Series X/S versions and cannot be obtained on PS4 or Xbox One unfortunately!
