GTA V has made headlines recently by bringing back presumed-dead characters as major content updates roll out.

At the GTA Online content update ‘Los Santos Drug Wars – The Last Dose’ released in March 2023, an iconic character who we saw die in Grand Theft Auto V was brought back from death via resurrection – Michael Friedlander’s former psychotherapist Isaiah Friedlander had come back from death! We must warn readers before reading further; spoilers might follow!

GTA V fans know Michael to be an extremely troubled character – as are Francis and Trevor – however Michael seems particularly duplicitous, having revealed all his deepest secrets to Isaiah Friedlander as therapy. When Friedlander offered himself up as the subject for a TV show threatening to discuss them publicly onscreen, Michael naturally wanted no part in that scenario and prevented his therapist from speaking publicly – or so we thought.

Now another presumed-dead character may have made their comeback; although Rockstar Games have yet to officially confirm it. According to Comicbook.com’s report on an anonymous leak claiming Johnny Klebitz would return in GTA Online content update; Klebitz had made brief cameo appearances as main protagonist from GTA IV expansion ‘The Lost and Damned’ expansion and met Trevor at Trevor’s store but things ended badly for this former biker-gang member after meeting up.

After appearing to die during his encounter with Trevor, Klebitz may come back in GTA Online in its next major content update – perhaps around Halloween time? Time will only tell whether this leak actually holds water.

Un interesting puzzle found in GTA Online’s most recent update could hint at news regarding Grand Theft Auto VI; and further, many players consider Grand Theft Auto V’s torture scene unnecessary in retrospect.
