Destiny 2 Will Correct Strand Tangles and Threadlings in 2018/19 Season
Bungie provided answers for several sandbox questions from Destiny 2 community members regarding Strand subclass abilities introduced with Tangles and Threadlings in Destiny 2, Tangles and Threadlings being among them.
Bungie was recently asked by players about its cooldown timer for creating Tangles when used in artifact mods, armor mods and aspects that included them. Bungie explained: When this number became too low combat became extremely chaotic with random explosions occurring all across the battlefield; therefore in future seasons Bungie will reduce that figure from 15 seconds to 12 seconds for creating Tangles.
Warlock Broodweavers were particularly concerned by Threadlings as their mastery is so powerful. Additionally, in high difficulty content they feel underwhelming as Bungie plans to increase damage output but decrease uptime/duration of Suspend sources during Season 22 PVE content.
Bungie announced, “we are making modifications to The Wanderer as part of this change to address community feedback regarding its potency,” Bungie announced. If you still haven’t gotten hold of Season of the Deep’s newly added Strand aspects – Threaded Specter for Hunters, The Wanderer for Warlocks and Flechette Storm for Titans – visit Nimbus to take part in Parting the Veil quest – completion will give each faction their respective Strand aspect: Hunters receive Threaded Specter; Warlocks get The Wanderer while Titans will gain Flechette Storm for their respective classes.
