Clive’s sword at the Tower of London should take precedence! Forget Excalibur’s Sword in the Stone!

Square Enix announced Final Fantasy XVI back in September 2020 and fans eagerly anticipate its debut as an RPG series installment featuring Clive Rosefield as protagonist. This standalone story promises an exceptional gaming experience for RPG enthusiasts everywhere!

Clive is a powerful being who wields magical abilities to overcome forces of evil, yet would struggle against his foes alone without his loyal allies and trusty Invictus sword by his side.

At first, all we could really appreciate Clive’s long sword (stop being dirty!) in Final Fantasy XVI was when playing. Now imagine being able to witness Clive’s blade for real? Well luckily fans of Square Enix series can have that opportunity by visiting Tower of London in London UK!

From 20 June-20 July 2023, for the very first time ever, a sword from a video game will be displayed alongside armour and weaponry owned by Royalty from decades past. Unfortunately you will not be permitted to wield this blade yourself – otherwise you might get arrested! Still, fans of RPG series who will visit London soon should enjoy this unique exhibition as a great day trip out!

“Clive’s Invictus Sword from Final Fantasy XVI will be on display until July 19th at White Tower of Tower of London! Thanks so much to @Royal_Armouries who house our national collection of arms and armour!” according to Square Enix in their tweet.

Fans have announced plans to boycott Final Fantasy XVI. Additionally, during Summer Game Fest we saw our first spectacular gameplay trailer of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth.

Final Fantasy XVI releases exclusively on PlayStation 5 on 21 June 2023; keep an eye out tomorrow for our review to go live, but be wary of spoilers that may appear online or via social media platforms!
