Destiny 2 Can Regrow Strand Tangles and Threadlings Next Season
Bungie provided answers for numerous sandbox queries from Destiny 2 players during its weekly news post entitled This Week in Destiny. Bungie specifically covered issues regarding Strand subclass abilities introduced with Destiny 2, such as Tangles and Threadlings.
Bungie was asked by reporters regarding its cooldown timer for creating Tangles as artifact mods, armor mods and aspects containing Tangles were making combat more chaotic, leading to random explosions all across the battlefield. Bungie revealed plans of changing it from 15 seconds to 12 seconds during their next season of development.
Warlock Broodweavers were frequently expressed their displeasure with Threadlings due to the Suspend ability’s overwhelming power; further, threadlings are underwhelming in high difficulty content too; Bungie plans on increasing damage output of threadlings but decreasing uptime/duration duration by decreasing Suspend sources in PVE content in Season 22.
Bungie stated, “we will also make adjustments to The Wanderer, Broodweaver’s newly added Strand aspect, in response to community feedback regarding its potency.” To gain the new Strand aspects added in Season of the Deep visit Nimbus for Parting the Veil quest completion: Hunters can receive Threaded Specter; Warlocks get The Wanderer; while Titans gain Flechette Storm.
