Recent emails published by the FTC reveal the game is still underway for development on Xbox and PC and will reportedly be an exclusive title available exclusively through those platforms. No official release date or type has yet been specified but FTC emails indicate an RPG shooter title may be included within it.

Rumors swirl that Xbox exclusive RPG title could take inspiration from popular fantasy RPG franchises like Diablo and World Of Warcraft, featuring live service-style gameplay. Although we don’t yet know when we will hear more details of this mysterious title, most likely it will join Starfield Avowed Motorsport as part of an Xbox exclusive lineup.

Xbox is still struggling to finalise its deal with Activision and has experienced considerable backlash, as many fear the partnership could harm competition in gaming market due to concerns that Xbox will make popular Activision franchises like Call Of Duty exclusive to Xbox despite repeated promises by company representatives that this won’t occur.

Alongside its ongoing trial with the FTC, UK CMA also issued an injunction which could see Activision titles pulled completely from UK stores – something experts warn could happen eventually.

Phil Spencer remains confident the acquisition deal will go through, noting Call Of Duty will become available across PlayStation consoles just like it will on Xbox.
