Steam’s latest free game, known simply as Pokemon on PC, can now be found for download through their platform.
Do we love free video games? Well if that is the case and if Pokemon is your thing then look no further! Now there is even better news if that is indeed your passion – as there is free Pokemon content out there just waiting to be discovered by fans like yourself!
As is widely recognized, Pokemon will probably never leave Nintendo consoles; we expect nothing different! Although Xbox and PlayStation exclusive titles such as Halo or God of War eventually made their way onto PC gaming platforms like Steam and Battlenet eventually, Nintendo seems committed to keeping Pokemon exclusive to itself and will probably always do so – we wouldn’t expect any less!
No doubt the mere idea of playing Pokemon on any other console makes many cringe, yet we could certainly benefit from having an alternative like Pokemon available elsewhere if necessary? Luckily enough, Pokemon clones haven’t been hard to come by over time though their quality may differ accordingly.
Take Cassette Beasts for example; despite experiencing post-launch performance issues, this indie game was described as offering unique ideas, an endearing aesthetic, and an engaging battle system – possibly making it one of the best independent titles you’ll play all year.
Temtem, developed and published by Crema and published by Humble Bundle. Temtem began life as a Kickstarter campaign in 2018, before later arriving as early-access titles on PC and PS5 early 2020; its final form would arrive for Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch consoles by 2022.
PCGamesN reported that, for anyone craving the thrills and challenges of Pokemon-style gameplay, Temtem now features a free-to-play spinoff which boasts no in-app purchases – an unprecedented situation when it comes to modern video games with free access! This title stands out as 100% free compared to most free titles today – an extremely rare trait among free to play titles.
Temtem: Showdown offers players an effortless entryway into competitive multiplayer battle simulation! Construct your team quickly, then step straight into ranked matches against players from around the globe for pure Temtem battle action – no leveling or taming required!
Unfortunately, Temtem: Showdown is only currently available to PC users and there have been no plans announced by Crema to bring this spin-off over to consoles in the near future – though we remain hopeful! We keep our fingers crossed.
