According to an industry source, eleven new Assassin’s Creed titles are in development at present.
Fans of Assassin’s Creed should prepare themselves for an extremely busy couple of years ahead, as Ubisoft reportedly has eleven new games under development for this franchise.
Not long ago we reported Ubisoft’s six Assassin’s Creed games currently under development, following an expansion in their development team. Now according to insider information they plan 11 titles across platforms!
Inside Gaming recently featured an in-depth list of all upcoming Assassin’s Creed titles, such as Mirage, VR game Nexus and mobile title Codename Jade.
Other titles included in this bundle include Assassin’s Creed Red (Platforms TBA; release anticipated 2024).
Assassin’s Creed Hexe will release on multiple platforms sometime around 2025-6.
Invictus will release on multiple platforms before 2025/06 (target release date: TBA).

Assassin’s Creed Raid (Prototype stage only)
Assassin’s Creed Echoes (Prototype stage only)
Assassin’s Creed Nexus 2 (VR, in discussions).
Remake of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag has been officially approved.
Though little is known about these untitled games besides Red’s setting in Feudal Japan, fans still speculate as to their content and atmosphere. With each Assassin’s Creed entry set during different historical eras and locations (Hexe taking place during Salem Witch Trials while Invictus at Roman peak height), fans enjoy making assumptions.
Since Assassin’s Creed Mirage brought stealth gameplay back into its core open worlds this year, its future titles may take note and explore similar areas or return to an open-world RPG style similar to recent entries such as Odyssey or Valhalla.
Though these codenamed titles are of interest, I am most excited for Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag remake and believe most fans feel similarly; after all it’s one of the franchise’s most beloved titles and features an infectious sea shanty soundtrack!
