Here Are The Reasons Why Destiny 2 Servers Have Issues (Part Two).

Destiny 2 servers have become plagued with error codes, prompting TWID to address game stability issues. As players experience increasing difficulties logging in and emergency maintenance messages from Destiny 2, frustration mounts as frustrated gamers consider this game unplayable.

Bungie recently issued an in-depth, technical language update outlining their plan to combat Weasels, Baboons and more in Destiny 2.

Transparency was at the core of TWID’s mission as they provided some background on player data in Destiny 2. Claims services play an essential role in tracking every moment of gameplay for every single player in Destiny 2, accounting for every instance that transpires during game sessions.

TWID reported that when encountering hardware or network disruptions, Claims system isn’t recovering as expected in our live game environment; once detected it requires full restart to recover properly. “Recently discovered issue regarding Claims recovery after disruption can require full reboot” according to Destiny 2 team via Twitter.

Bungie says they’re working to address Claims issues to increase game stability, though results won’t appear overnight. TWID’s roadmap outlines what players can anticipate over the course of future seasons; Season of the Deep’s 7.1.5 update may introduce temporary fixes — like rapidly diagnosing Claims-related problems — while most changes should become effective by Season 22.

The 7.2.0 patch will assist Clans in healing themselves to avoid Bungie taking Destiny 2 offline when issues arise, and also includes updates which should make servers stronger; these changes will carry over into Season 23.
