PlayStation Plus users have become unwilling to download an insane 200GB free game title.
PlayStation’s free monthly games just dropped and users are refusing to download one due to its massive storage requirements.
Every month, PlayStation offers its PlayStation Plus subscribers three titles they can download at no additional charge and keep forever – some months may deliver better than expected, whereas other months leave much to be desired.
This month, players are generally pleased with their selection, save for Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War which demands 200GB storage space – something many are refusing to commit to downloading.
Cold War takes up more space than one would expect on an average PlayStation console – between 500GB-1TB. Therefore, players have described Cold War as being “insanely huge.”
Recently, opinions regarding Cold War’s install size were discussed on Reddit; many players voiced their thoughts regarding its scale of installation.
“Damn cod file was over 200gb so had to delete quite a lot to accommodate.”

Alan Wake Remastered and Endling – Extinction were among the other free titles available this month and proved popular with their respective fan bases.

PlayStation Plus provides an array of downloadable games, usually catering to everyone but leaving some disappointed when their desired AAA titles don’t show up on it. Still, subscription services continue to improve and will soon introduce cloud streaming for Premium subscribers as an added perk.
