Apex Legends Fragments to be Reworked in Season 17

Apex Legends’ Season 17 is almost upon us and we were fortunate enough to get an early preview of all its exciting content. While many will eagerly anticipate trying the newly added legend Ballistic or experiencing an improved Ranked system, World’s Edge fans will notice one of their most beloved POI’s (point of interest), Fragment has undergone dramatic alterations – after years of sitting idle it has now become one of its own POI’s with one key building moving across to its new position on the map!

Fragment West has been transformed into Monument, an expansive museum dedicated to commemorating Apex Games that features several distinct areas: museum proper; large monument housing former market space (where market had once stood); several surrounding buildings that used to obstruct building-to-building combat have now been removed; this makes space far less constricting, encouraging building battles instead of melee battles; museum features glass roof with access via zipline for viewing sniper tower and can be found positioned northwest corner.

A broken bridge connecting the west and east sides has also been repaired, eliminating an underground tunnel squads can traverse. Reaching the east side could become trickier since there’s less cover when heading toward streamer building or train station on this side. As for large construction building formerly known as Lava City being relocated entirely into POI known now as Stacks with more construction-themed structures linking directly back into zip-line building at its centre.

Respawn provided details on some smaller changes that included cooling off lava to become traversable, adding a vault near Skyhook, and building a lower central platform in Harvester. Mirage-a-Trois will remain, so make sure to visit her from time to time! We learned of an ongoing slight revamp to the Trials POI; I presume it involves making Prowlers drop ammo and attachments as they would on Stormpoint; finally all large gaps where players might fall through have been closed in some manner or another; all large gaps where players would get back launched have been filled up – making Mirage-aTrois even more accessible!

Apex Legends Season 17 will launch for all supported platforms on May 15th.
