There Are Numerous Issues Facing Destiny 2 Right Now
Yesterday’s midseason patch seemed to keep Destiny 2 running smoothly. Since its release however, numerous things have gone haywire and bugs with various mods, weapons and subclass abilities have surfaced throughout the game.
At present, Firepower and Reaper mods do not appear to be producing Orbs of Power as advertised by text messages within Destiny 2 Lightfall; previously these had issues closer to launch date – they appear now broken again! Also notable, grenade mods no longer work with Strand grapple; any intentional changes would likely not have been announced within patch notes and Ashes to Assets may have also been changed or become malfunctional.
Solar subclasses appear to be experiencing issues as well; radiant weapons do not seem to be stunning Barrier champions as intended and grenades don’t seem to generate Firesprites either.
Many players have reported difficulty collecting Amanda Holliday’s ship keys during the final step of seasonal quest. If they reset their ranking at H.E.L.M, however, then their ship already exists (they were supposed to receive Ghost shell instead) thus rendering these players currently incapable of finishing this seasonal quest.
Destiny 2 has experienced various issues over the last several days as well, namely in regards to crashes during King’s Fall raid and audio rendering as distorted, too loud, or too quiet; players may see title icon flashing in menu with no Triumphs to claim in accordance with Guardian Games medal triumphs earned prior to event presence; others have noticed inconsistencies with Resilience stat calculations and some may experience inconsistencies with it as well.
Many of these issues could be bugs; others might even be intentional nerfs; in either case it would have been nice if Bungie included these changes as patch notes for future updates. We hope we hear back soon regarding all of the bugs and broken features affecting Destiny 2.
