Release of Assassin’s Creed Red is much closer than initially projected.
Rumor has it that Assassin’s Creed Codename Red’s release window has surfaced online – much closer than initially anticipated!
On 12 October, Assassin’s Creed Mirage will make its debut, set against a backdrop of nine century Baghdad with Valhalla’s Basim taking center stage as you traverse one of its smallest AC maps ever seen! Codename Jade recently issued a callout for playtesters while Nexus will bring Ezio Auditore back into playtesters while there may even be remake of Black Flag! In any event, Codename Red remains currently under development!
Codename Red was unveiled during 2022’s Ubisoft Forward but wasn’t shown this year’s showcase. Set in feudal Japan, Ubisoft described Codename Red as an action RPG called Powerful Shinobi Fantasy with full open world playable areas; Ubisoft confirmed this rumor further by noting two main protagonists for Codename Red’s release: one being both samurai and ninja!
No word yet on when the game might come out, but fan account AccessTheAnimus may have revealed an expected launch window for Ubisoft staffer Arisa Lagunzad’s Ubisoft 2024 project – though she later changed it back out again! AccessTheAnimus found evidence in Ubisoft staffer Arisa Lagunzad’s LinkedIn Post seeking Japanese partners for “the biggest blockbuster of 2024”, although she later deleted that mention – however her post remains open-ended! Ooops.
Ubisoft are seeking sponsorship partners for next year’s version of Assassin’s Creed Codename Red (via GameRant), and that certainly gives away too much information. Fans have long asked Ubisoft for feudal Japan as an area for development; I expect fans will embrace this release window eagerly!
