Hogwarts Legacy will receive a PlayStation-exclusive free update!
PlayStation 5 users can now take advantage of an exclusive update for Hogwarts Legacy that provides much needed fixes in game.
Hogwarts Legacy’s success cannot be understated: not only has it generated more than $1 billion across Xbox, PlayStation, PC consoles with Nintendo Switch being added soon – it also out-earning many films it is based on!
Since its initial release earlier this year, several updates have brought numerous bug fixes, quality of life improvements and additional content in form of cosmetic updates.
Recent update for PlayStation 5 users addresses one of its primary issues… Recently, players on Sony platforms had been experiencing frequent crashes which would randomly boot them out of Hogwarts Legacy; an error with GPU texture memory being suspected as being responsible.
Player dissatisfaction over this issue had reached critical mass; unfortunately there wasn’t anything they could do themselves to address or fix it themselves; but Avalanche Software have taken note and released a patch which should keep gameplay uninterrupted for now.
Technical issues aside, fans continue to dedicate hours and hours of playback time to the open-world Wizarding World game despite technical glitches; whether exploring Hogwarts on their quest for hidden items, or modding it to add features or alter existing ones.
Fans have also requested additional DLC for Hogwarts Legacy 2, such as quidditch mode or story expansions, while some are discussing Hogwarts Legacy 2 as it appears likely due to its commercial success.
Hogwarts Legacy can be played on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 Nintendo Switch PC.
