Destiny 2 Solstice 2023 Preview – Armor and Strand Rocket Launchers
Bungie’s This Week In Destiny news post featured Solstice 2019, beginning July 18th. Amongst other details, Bungie gave readers a sneak peak at Solstice 2023 armor and their newly introduced Strand rocket launcher.
This year’s armor features black and gold tones with more of a royal aesthetic compared to Solstice 2022’s look, which featured different hues. Upgrades made to any piece will cause it to stand out like never before – truly making them shine brightly.
Bungie also announced, alongside Solstice 2023 armor, the addition of a Strand rocket launcher into its loot pool as part of Solstice 2023 loot pool – it would appear this is set to become one of its must-have weapons! Details have yet to be shared publicly but no doubt, this weapon would make for quite the collectable with it being the very first Strand rocket launcher seen within game! This rocket launcher joins Something New hand cannon and Compass Rose shotgun for inclusion within its Solstice loot pool!
Solstice, Bungie’s summer event, features armor crafting and Bonfire Bash; both three player matchmade PVE activities designed to bring players together against waves of enemies to earn Silver Leaves to craft armor with desired stat splits.
Now is an excellent opportunity to fine-tune armor rolls that can bring you closer to achieving triple hundred stat builds of your dreams.
