Dead By Daylight developer Behaviour Interactive to open UK studio
Given how exciting running away from terrifying forces that want to grab hold and impale you on an meat hook as sacrifice can be, Dead By Daylight has earned itself an ever-increasing fan base of horror fans.
Behavior Interactive appears to be successfully drawing in new audiences through collaborations like that involving Nicolas Cage in their flagship game later this month – something which caused quite the stir at Summer Game Fest – which seems like they have done an admirable job of drawing them in to its games.
As part of its expansion plans, Canadian developer will open a studio in southwest England – fulfilling plans to broaden beyond Montreal roots.
How would you react if Dead By Daylight studio Behaviour UK-South decided to add another team?
They plan on opening in Truro Cornwall.
AntiMatter Games’ team that developed Rising Storm 2: Vietnam will join this new venture as it shuts down as planned by Enad Global 7 this summer, according to announcements in May this year.
“Upon hearing of AntiMatter Games’ closure, we recognized an opportunity to accelerate our strategic expansion by hiring its proven, experienced team,” stated Wayne Meazza, Executive Vice President of Behaviour’s Services division.
“We are thrilled that Behaviour offers us this incredible opportunity to continue crafting games!” commented AntiMatter Games former CEO Rich Barham who will serve as Behaviour UK-South’s General Manager and maintain a home base in picturesque Truro while welcoming new team members through Truro over time.
Behaviour UK – South will become Behaviour’s second studio in the UK following their acquisition and subsequent rebrand of Middlesbrough-based developer SockMonkey Studios as Behaviour UK – North in February.
