Cyberpunk 2077 finally received a “very positive” review rating on Steam after nearly two years!
Cyberpunk 2077 took long enough, but finally its initial launch has yielded positive reviews on Steam; more than two years after being first made available it finally earned a “very positive” score that many didn’t anticipate would arrive by December 2020!
Cyberpunk 2077’s release into history ranks amongst one of the worst video game experiences ever, due to gamers’ expectations being too great upon its initial unveiling by CD Projekt Red’s open world RPG title, due to bugs, glitches and performance issues on Xbox One and PS4. Since its initial debut however, numerous updates and patches have been implemented that transformed Cyberpunk 2077 into what many knew it should have been all along – now truly recognised for what it truly is – an exceptional title by gamers everywhere!
Marcin Momot of CD Projekt Red responded positively to this news via social media: “Cyberpunk 2077 Steam reviews have now achieved the impressive feat of reaching “Very Positive”, with 8/10 scores being favorable! Thank you all for recognising all our hard work since launch!”
PC Gamer reports that, contrary to popular opinion, this “very positive” rating only appears on Steam when your settings exclude so-called “off-topic reviews.” Valve considers certain reviews created through review bombing to be off-topic and discounts them (which Steam automatically does if you aren’t signed in); otherwise it remains as “mostly positive”.
Phantom Liberty will arrive shortly on PCs and new-gen consoles (PS4 and Xbox One users only). Expected release date: 26 September
