Call of Duty fans alike are in agreement that The Boys’ Homelander has completely altered the game by being far too powerful and overpowered.
Though Warzone Season Four Reloaded may feature what should be one of the coolest crossovers ever, Call of Duty fans remain less than enthusiastic about its release.
Season Four Reloaded was recently unveiled, featuring an exciting cast from The Boys as playable operators – Homelander, Starlight and Black Noir (who will become available 20 July) are now playable operators with unique finishing moves for players to experience on Vondel streets – everyone seems thrilled by a crossover of this magnitude! And who could resist? Certainly Warzone player base doesn’t.
As soon as Season Four Reloaded was unveiled, various Call of Duty players took to Reddit in droves to voice their displeasure at what many considered “disgusting and outrageous”. Many announced they were uninstalling Warzone entirely citing situations in which people flew about killing each other with bolts coming from their hands; others stated this behavior “was simply… not right”.
As NME reports, many have taken exception to Homelander-inspired Laser Vision ability available through Temp V field upgrades. Players using Laser Vision are able to utilise it like their Homelander counterparts – blasting opponents apart with fire laser beams! Unfortunately it leaves users vulnerable against shooting; but many consider the tradeoff too small for such an unstoppable attack which cuts enemies down within seconds!
“Laser Eyes Are Unusual… Would Have Benefitted From Being Separate Game Modes.” one Reddit user posted. Another user agreed, noting “I know they need to evolve this game over time but this ain’t it”. Finally another noted “after one Superpowers Match I Think It I’ll Just Sit Out Of This Now — its so F**king Bad”, joining their voice of disapproval on Reddit.
Well, at least the operators themselves look really cool!
