Red Dead Redemption running at 60fps and 4K resolution has to be one of the most breathtaking experiences we’ve seen – who knew??

Rockstar Games has recently generated much speculation regarding their intentions of creating a remake of Red Dead Redemption using the same engine used for Red Dead Redemption 2. Though most of this speculation could simply be dismissed as gossip or hearsay, fans remain hopeful for confirmation from Rockstar as soon as possible.

Fans can still experience an unofficial version of remastered gameplay through emulation.

Use of the Xenia emulator provides one method, as it lets Xbox 360 games run at full-speed on PC while taking full advantage of hardware speed and power – this allows Red Dead Redemption, never released on PC before now boasting framerates exceeding 60fps with 4K resolution support!

As soon as Red Dead Redemption 3 returns on Xbox and PlayStation 3, its visual quality immediately stands out, with gameplay and cutscenes looking much cleaner and smoother compared to their initial releases on these consoles. Unfortunately it still cannot match Red Dead Redemption 2, though an improvement on what was available before should definitely be noted.

Though not exactly what many fans had in mind when looking for a remaster of this classic title, this version still warrants consideration if your PC meets certain specs required to ensure high performance.

Fans remain eagerly awaiting information regarding Rockstar’s unconfirmed Red Dead Redemption remake, though no concrete signs indicate its existence or timeline for development have emerged yet. John Marston voice actor Anthony Carrigan has even indicated a willingness to reprise his role should Rockstar decide to bring Red Dead Redemption back onto current-gen hardware.

Fans have made it abundantly clear they do not desire another Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition, which brought back three classic GTA games with “updated” visuals which actually made them appear worse; additionally, this release contained bugs and glitches which rendered certain parts unplayable.

Given the success of Red Dead Redemption series, Rockstar should reintroduce Red Dead Redemption as part of its modern gaming offering; provided it retains visual speed and fidelity as in Xenia version it would certainly mark progress forward.
