As previously discussed, July’s essential PlayStation Plus drop includes Alan Wake Remastered, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Endling – Extinction is Forever; an excellent time to catch up before Alan Wake 2 releases later this year! Additionally, 20 additional titles were made available, such as It Takes Two Sniper Elite 5, World War Z Spongebob SquarePants: Battle For Bikini Bottom Rehydrated SpongeBob SquarePants Rehydrated Battle of Bikini Bottom and Undertale (to name just a few!). Today I want to introduce Dysmantle as my pick: I strongly believe you won’t regret your purchase!

Dysmantle was developed and published by 10tons Ltd as an open world action RPG with post-apocalyptic settings. You’re given the simple task of breaking things to survive; almost anything that crosses your path can be broken apart for scrap plastic, rubber and metal that will help create survival items for yourself and other players.

Reddit user SuccessResponsible was impressed by Dysmantle and wrote on Reddit about it as part of her review: “If you own PlayStation Plus extra and are looking for an exciting survival game to try, please give Dysmantle a go – haven’t seen anyone talking about it, so wanted to post. Probably one of my most addictive survival titles ever played!” Gameplay involves looting, combat, crafting base building RPG-esque levelling loot hunting crafting looting combat crafting base building RPG-esque levelling plus much more!”

“Object destruction in Rust and Ark was very satisfying; almost everything could be destructible – providing plenty of challenge without becoming restrictive over time. Main and side quests help keep players focused without becoming tedious due to an overall lack of direction – I highly recommend giving Rust/Ark another try – with co-op support it makes for great team games too!”

Shadowglint noted, “Easily one of my favourite games when I discovered it last year. Everything you break apart serves a purpose for progress in your game and makes breaking everything so satisfying – its map being HUGE makes this super fun game worth trying!” Give this gem of an adventure a go for yourself today and see for yourself.
