Ubisoft officially unveiled their Invincible video game.
Ubisoft has confirmed they will release an Invincible video game “soon”.
At last, Invincible finally has its own game! For those unaware, Skybound Entertainment comic series began back in 2003 and ran until 2018, before Prime Video launched an animated television adaptation in 2021. Both formats follow Mark Grayson – son of Omni-Man – as he comes to terms with newly developing superpowers; both versions also showcase stunning action sequences from this highly gory show; many viewers had asked for years for an Invincible video game adaptation but finally it has arrived!
Guarding the Globe may not live up to everyone’s expectations – as an idle squad RPG for mobile devices, don’t expect anything comparable to Marvel’s Spider-Man and its sequel.
Ubisoft recently shared news that Guarding the Globe will feature an entirely original storyline set within Invincible universe – exciting news for fans. Players will need to recruit iconic characters such as Invincible himself and Atom Eve in order to defeat an army of evil clones; choose five characters (attackers, defenders and supporters), form squads of five characters for battle with daily and weekly tasks to complete them successfully.
“It has been truly thrilling watching the Invincible universe evolve from comic book, TV show and now video game form!” stated Robert Kirkman of Skybound Publishing’s chairman and chief creative officer as creator of Invincible. With its multi-hero storyline and multi-battle mode reminiscent of Invincible itself, Robert feels it fits seamlessly within their game’s multiplayer RPG framework and gameplay mode – Ubisoft did an outstanding job adapting its legacy for small screens!
Invincible: Guarding the Globe will soon arrive for iOS and Android platforms; however, an exact release date remains unannounced.
