Warzone Fans call for Activision servers to be reset to resolve issues

Warzone players who have jumped into Season 4 Reloaded’s action are unfortunately encountering a number of bugs and errors that can adversely affect their experience.

A gas bug has ruined gulag battles so far this season. Meanwhile, issue-free matches have been dominated by the new Close-range Meta after a brand-new batch of rank restrictions, which you can read about in the Patch Notes for July 19,.

To the frustration of the community, in addition to bugs, poor server performance is causing frame drops and sudden stuttering. One fan has called for the servers to be reset in order to resolve the problem.

JRest71 is the frustrated user who posted on Reddit about their frustration with constant packet losses and fluctuations in server ping during a game.

They wrote: “This atrocity is unacceptable.” Close the servers and do whatever is needed. Activision should intervene, according to other community members. One said: “It is insane.” The developers need to act ASAP.

Raven Software has already begun to work on fixing the servers that are stuttering. The developer released an announcement on July 15 2023 that it had applied an update in order to improve PC performance. However, it does not appear it has worked.

It is still unclear what caused the server to perform so poorly. Some players think the Amazon Prime show The Boys is to blame. One player said: “Superpowers on Al Mazrah (ruined) all again.” I’m amazed at how incompetent the devs of this game are.

When will Warzone servers be fixed?

There’s no way to know when Warzone’s servers will be back to normal. However, Raven Software is likely to continue applying regular updates in order to enhance the performance of the game before Season 5 begins. This should happen around August.

Be prepared for sudden drops in frame rate and stutters on landings at Al Mazrah or Vondel until a fix is available.
