Fallout Amazon series debuts a brand-new look online
An amazing year it has been for video game adaptations! Gran Turismo will soon arrive, while earlier we were treated to both The Super Mario Bros. Movie and The Last of Us season one movies which both provided spectacular cinematic experiences.
With all that going on in life and entertainment, it may have slipped your mind that Amazon is currently developing a live-action Fallout television series – something which we should all find very exciting! Unfortunately, little information exists at present; only its announcement in 2020 confirmed Westworld creators Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan as Westworld executives that would adapt Bethesda series alongside Todd Howard acting as executive producer was available at that point.
Joy and Nolan once declared, in a joint statement: “Fallout is one of the greatest game series ever created, costing us many hours that could otherwise have been spent with family and friends. So we are tremendously excited to team up with Todd Howard at Bethesda to bring this huge, subversive, darkly funny universe alive at Amazon Studios!”
As VGC reports, set photos have given us some idea of what the series might look like; spoiler alert – it looks promising. These new images reveal some sort of building with Vault Tech logo painted onto its floor outside; worn old cars can also be spotted parked up nearby; while one actor appears dressed as a raider. Take a look below.
At this writing, it remains unknown when Fallout will finally make its television debut – hopefully sooner rather than later!
