Elden Ring teases further expansion after Shadow Of The Erdtree
Elden Ring is already an enormous game, so while we don’t yet know the size of its DLC expansion Shadow of the Erdtree we can only assume it will follow suit in its massive scale.
Gamesters should take heart from Elden Ring’s release last February: fans have truly outdone themselves since then with regards to what can be accomplished within its confines, from lightning-fast speedruns and even beating its final boss with an unusual dance mat – something which would put most regular controller-using gamers to shame!
Since February when FromSoftware announced their Shadow of the Erdtree DLC expansion pack, fans have speculated it may involve Miquella as Malenia’s older sibling; is that means we might see another Malenia fight? Personally I find such ideas horrifying.
Game Rant recently reported that FromSoftware may have additional plans for Elden Ring beyond Shadow of the Erdtree DLC – something Game Rant found intriguing. Kadokawa (FromSoftware’s parent company) stated in their quarterly report: “Various measures are currently under development to maximize Elden Ring’s lifetime value.”
Shadow of the Erdtree may be the only major DLC currently under development, but that does not represent all that’s going on within the game; various measures could still be employed at once and we might see further free content updates soon after!
As we don’t yet know when Shadow of the Erdtree DLC will arrive, it will be wise to watch this space closely for updates.
