Apex Legends players outline improvements and modifications they want implemented during Season 18 as they outline desired changes for Apex Legends.
Maintaining an even playing experience in Apex Legends can be a challenging endeavor for Respawn Entertainment, with so many unique Legends available and each having unique abilities that they rely on to gain the upper hand in battles. Players that perform too well may quickly stand out and standout as being too good.
As attention turns toward Season 18, some players fear popular maps could soon be destroyed and hope the new season addresses an exploit that allows people to clip through walls without permission.
Before learning what the new season holds for them, players are discussing which Legends might see buffs or nerfs from developers.
Reddit user That2ntrovrt kicked off this discussion among Apex players by asking, “Which one(s) do you hope gets buffs or buffs during this upcoming season?”
They stated: “Personally, I’d like Ash to get heavily upgraded; perhaps with two tactical changes and (an increase to her ultimate attack range).”
Respawn Entertainment appears to be listening, with numerous Legends players leaving comments urging for changes that allow Crypto to see nearby squads without using his drone. One player suggested, for example:
Alongside changes to Crypto, numerous players mentioned another Legend who may require tweaks: Caustic. As one member of this group commented: “(We need) changes for Caustic so he can actually be buffed without people complaining.” – adding: “I would also love sticky traps so we could attach to walls, doors, ceilings..”
Revenant Reborn will also see significant change, likely to bring this Legend closer into line with other players and increase excitement for a brand-new season of action!
Respawn Entertainment may make changes to Crypto and Ash that would alter their meta, yet we’ll have to see what surprises they have up their sleeves before drawing any definitive conclusions about any effects this might have.
