Modern consoles are truly marvelous devices, not only providing us with amazing gaming memories but also offering instant system updates which enable rapid improvements.

No matter if it be updates to user interface features, audio enhancements or app integration such as Discord; over the years both PlayStation and Xbox have seen various upgrades to their dashboards; with today’s generation no exception.

However, PlayStation 5 has introduced long-awaited graphics features ahead of Xbox Series X|S. Xbox has certainly excelled at cloud gaming; which enables instant video game playing on compatible mobile devices connected to an internet source and without need for downloads or patch installs.

Fans have long desired for console streaming to offer 4K resolution; most gamers should be able to maintain smooth framerate at 1080p as long as their internet connection is reliable; for more impressive 4K streaming experiences a superior and stable connection is necessary; at this time though a seamless experience cannot yet be assured – at least not yet!

Sony has begun rolling out a public beta test of PS5 that enables gamers to stream 4K resolution games over cloud gaming technology. Twitter users report receiving emails inviting them to try this new cloud gaming feature of PlayStation 5.

ResetEra users have shared their early experiences with 4K cloud gaming beta test. As reported by ArashiGames: “Just received my invite for accessing the new firmware beta program (it seems targeted towards Premium members); tested Ragnarok at 2160p quality without issues – you set max resolution from activity card: 720p/1080p/1440p/2160p. Games seem to load my cloud saves directly!”

Recently, PlayStation 5 received another system update that has seen significant enhancements made to the console’s SSD storage capacities and more.
