Sonic Heroes Remaster could soon be on its way!
Gamers love spreading rumors when it comes to classic games being remastered – and nothing tops Sonic Heroes as an iconic example!
Although no concrete details regarding Sonic Remaster plans exist yet, fans of SEGA and Sonic have become overexcited at what might happen. Initial excitement was generated after they announced SEGA would appear at Gamescon; unfortunately though this doesn’t guarantee remastered Sonic.
TailsTube’s footage showed a glitched scene from Sonic Heroes (bonus points if you know which scene), providing fans with all of the evidence needed for confirmation of what might have been true all along. While this might appear farfetched at first, with SEGA launching its Fast. Friends. Forever campaign perhaps these fans might actually be on to something.
Given how new Fast. Friends. Forever is, some may still not understand its purpose – allow us to explain! This campaign centers around friendship. Sonic could not have raced his way into millions of hearts without his allies’ help, which SEGA is commemorating with various “events and activations”.
Sonic Heroes celebrates friendship and its gameplay was recently showcased in a Fast. Friends. Forever trailer. This has led fans to believe this could be further evidence that Sonic Heroes will receive a remaster.
SEGA has yet to officially confirm whether a Sonic Heroes remaster will indeed happen, regardless of how compelling their arguments might be.
Before becoming too discouraged, let me assure you of one thing – while there may not be an exact release date of Sonic Superstars… (current placeholder date being “31 December 2023”, although that could change). At any rate, there is hope: while we cannot promise remasters for Heroes or any of Sonic’s titles (even Heroes!), at least we know we will soon receive another Sonic game in 2023… which might just come sooner!
What does all this entail, then? Could there be some coded message hidden somewhere among all this Sonic goodness fueled with fan speculation and hopefulness?
Simply stated, we’re all obsessed with Sonic. Even without concrete evidence that our favourite games may get remasters anytime soon – much like Legend of Zelda fans hoping that a Wind Waker remaster may come about soon enough!
