PlayStation Plus subscribers can take advantage of two massive 2023 releases available as freebies on launch day for PS Plus subscription.
August promises to be an eventful month in terms of gaming, particularly following PlayStation’s announcement of two free titles available exclusively to Plus and Extra members this month.
PlayStation Plus recently unveiled 17 brand new titles scheduled to arrive beginning 15 August 2023 – such as Moving Out 2 on launch day itself – all for just a fraction of their retail cost! Yes indeed – now PlayStation players will have access to brand new experiences without breaking the bank!
Moving Out 2 is the sequel to 2020’s Moving Out; both games allow you to take part in furniture relocation as F.A.R.Ts (furniture arrangement and relocation technicians).
PlayStation Plus can bring launch day games like Destiny 2: The Witch Queen or Two Point Hospital: Jumbo Edition to you as part of its subscription plan – giving you plenty of fantastic titles for free every month! However, its excitement does not end there! With hundreds of great titles like these available if not one launch day game included you could build yourself quite the library over time!
Alongside these titles, MediEvil: Resurrection, Ape Escape: On the Loose and Pursuit Force: Extreme Justice will also be added to PlayStation Classics for Premium members. Considering how poorly PlayStation Plus Essentials sold off free games last time round, this batch feels like an apology from Sony to users; additionally it amounts to over 530 hours of gameplay in total!
But don’t stop there: PlayStation Extra members will also gain access to Lawn Mowing Simulator: Landmark Edition on 28 August 2023 and, the very next day, Sea of Stars by Sabotage Studio; both turn-based RPG titles that are highly anticipated releases for 2023 and will launch day one with PlayStation Store access in August. It would have been unthinkable not having these included – this deal truly deserves special note.
Just in case you missed any essentials of this article, that means two games available free on their first day of release!
No doubt this news will soften the blow caused by PlayStation app users being duped into believing Baldur’s Gate 3 release date had changed, prompting many fans to play Sea of Stars instead of Baldur’s Gate 3. We cannot yet ascertain if either RPG will make its debut first – Baldur’s Gate or Sea of Stars?
