PlayStation Plus subscribers were delighted by a surprise free game release last week.
PlayStation fans have expressed great enthusiasm about one of the free games included in PlayStation Plus drop.
PlayStation Plus provides gamers with access to some incredible titles in its Extra game catalog, like Marvel’s Spider-Man and Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition, to name only a few. Their selection covers every taste.
Although most players will enjoy going through the AAA lineup, if you dig deep enough you might uncover many overlooked gems – Death’s Door being one such title.
Death’s Door, an action/adventure game currently offered as a free download to PlayStation Plus subscribers of Essential, Extra and Premium tiers is now available as an action/adventure title available as a download!
Players will explore several levels as a crow, hacking at enemies and bosses in an effort to win back their soul that had been stolen away from them.
While receiving positive reviews, the game likely went underappreciated by most players despite receiving praise, prompting Reddit user lucjuli08 to post his surprise at death’s Door: “About to finish Death’s Door & would love feedback – Anyone else have pleasant surprises from it?!”
Played to completion, most fans enjoyed what the post-game content brought.
“I just started the game recently but am truly enjoying it so far! The difficulty can be challenging at times but manageable with patience for boss fights if necessary – all in all a solid experience!”
“I love it – its stylish gameplay makes a lasting impression and its difficulty is perfect for my old self!”
“This game is absolutely wonderful but I require a map.
It’s well worth checking out if you enjoy hack-and-slash dungeon-crawling gameplay; but even if that doesn’t appeal, PS Plus likely offers titles that might catch your interest!
Death’s Door can now be downloaded for free for those with an active PlayStation Plus membership at all tier levels, without incurring additional costs.
