Fallout: The Frontier is an epic new game created just for fans.
Fallout is one of Bethesda’s flagship IPs and remains one of the cornerstones of its success for more than twenty years now.
As Fairley points out, Bethesda never officially began producing Fallout until 2008 with Fallout 3, at which point its impactful release changed the face of post-apocalyptic RPG forever.
Fallout 4, released for PC, PS4 and Xbox One back in 2015, left fans eagerly awaiting new-gen upgrades of Fallout 4. These upgrades should begin coming out sometime during 2017 so fans won’t have to wait long!
But until that day comes, the incredible Fallout modding community continues to bring life and meaning back into this iconic RPG series through numerous improvements and unique content for fans to experience.
One such mod developed by Obsidian Entertainment for 2010’s Fallout: New Vegas is Fallout: The Frontier for Fallout: New Vegas. In this mod, players assume control of Courier who embarks upon an “adventure centered around an epic battle between New California Republic and Legion in Portland Oregon… Featuring three major questlines, sixty sidequests, hundreds of armour, weapons, items – not to mention over 10,000 lines of voiced dialogue!”
Fallout: The Frontier modders that we should thank include MacInTroll and TgSpy; their mod is currently available to download through Nexusmods for free if desired; otherwise developers suggest making a donation to charity instead.
Fallout: Brothers in Arms is shaping up to provide some of the greatest fun fans have had for quite a while; its mods promise unparalleled entertainment; while an alien creature in Starfield promises a chilling new alien threat comparable with Deathclaws!
Fallout: New Vegas has finally made its way out onto PCs, PlayStations 3s and Xbox 360s and can even be enjoyed backwards compatible on modern Xbox consoles via Xbox Game Pass!
