Steam unveils free downloads of some of 2023’s biggest titles
Gaming can be an expensive hobby; and as each console generation passes and game prices steadily climb higher and higher, so assessing games before buying becomes even more critical than ever. To help make sure that you choose wisely.
Demos may have fallen out of fashion for some time, but Xbox, PlayStation, Steam and Nintendo all appear to be realising they are increasingly essential. We’ve witnessed an array of questionable releases this year such as The Last of Us Part I on PC being barely playable or some users experiencing crashes and framerate drops when trying out Star Wars Jedi: Survivor – at PS70 or more these kinds of issues should never occur! Demos allow savvy shoppers to preview potential purchases before spending real cash; Steam Next Fest’s October edition was just announced and it provides just that experience before parting ways with cash. Demos offer ample chance for shoppers savvy enough.
As it’s already been revealed, Steam Next Fest 2019 will take place from October 9-16th and offer access to “hundreds of demos”, livestreams from developers as well as access to thousands of demos are planned – surefire ways of finding something suitable for all attendees at this multi-day celebration of future releases! A complete lineup has yet to be confirmed but with so many demos likely be present there should be something there that everyone would find appealing!
Expect to see several iconic titles at Next Fest this time around, following its previous run in June which offered demos of Lies of P, Viewfinder, Warhaven Sea of Stars Jusant Little Kitty Big City; all these games featured at least once across Summer Game Fest so I’m keen to see which well-known titles appear again this time round!
On 9 October at 10 AM Pacific time (PT), this event begins. You’ve only got seven days left to experience all these demos; don’t waste them! Visit its homepage now to set a reminder and start exploring!
