Marvel’s Black Panther coming to Game Pass
Marvel continues to be the most popular brand. While its television and theatrical projects receive the majority of attention, some amazing magic is happening in several game studios. Cliffhanger Games Marvel’s Black Panther is powered by magic, like the heart-shaped vibranium herb that powers the title character. Marvel announced that in July 2023, to celebrate the 57th Anniversary of Black Panther’s first comic book, a new EA Games Studio was working on a Black Panther game.
It won’t even be Wakanda’s first time playing a video game, but it’s their first one on his own. Black Panther was previously part of Marvel Avengers, which ultimately ended up on Xbox Game Pass. Will the vibranium wearing superhuman return to Xbox Game Pass?
Marvel’s Black Panther is still a long way off, but there are some things we know.
Marvel’s Black Panther is now available on Game Pass
It’s safe to say that even though there’s very little info about Marvel’s Black Panther , the game is likely to make it onto Game Pass Ultimate. It’s just a matter of waiting for the game to be released on EA Play. This usually occurs 6-10 months following its release. Although EA Play is a separate subscription, Game Pass includes access to both.
EA Play members can enjoy timed trial and access to the latest EA Studio games. Black Panther is likely to launch as an EA Play timed-trial, meaning that all Game Pass members will be able eventually to explore Cliffhanger Games’ version of Wakanda.
Marvel’s Black Panther
Marvel and Cliffhanger Games have been silent since revealing Black Panther. The game is likely to be story-driven and follow a unique narrative. It will also feature elements from a sandbox. Kevin Stephens (former Monolith Productions Engineer and WB Games Vice-President of Development) stated that Wakanda was a “rich Super Hero Sandbox” and the mission of WB Games is to create an epic world to allow players to enjoy Black Panther as well as explore Wakanda.
The brand-new team, made up of people from God of War and Call of Duty as well as Middle-earth Shadow of War and Halo Infinite, is leading the project. Cliffhanger may have just released its first game but the team has impressive credentials that indicate Black Panther will be in capable hands.
