Starfield’s negative first review is savagely slammed by Bethesda boss
Peter Hines of Bethesda has criticised a Blizzard programmer for his comments about Starfield’s main menu.
Just over two weeks remain until Starfield ‘s launch on Microsoft, and Windows.
The game was released as a review copy last week to the delight of the fans. They believe this is a sign Bethesda that the game has been completed and will be ready for September release.
The embargo prohibits outlets from providing reviews, or providing any information about the actual game. However, this hasn’t prevented some people, such as former Blizzard Developer Mark Kern, from giving their initial impressions.
Kern tweeted about Starfield’s menu. It has been a hot topic for fans. said that the start screen can tell a lot of how quickly a team worked and how proud they were.
Starfield’s Start Screen either reveals a passion team who are overworked or one that doesn’t give a damn.
This tweet was liked and shared by thousands, prompting Bethesda Vice-President Peter Hines to respond , saying that Kern had designed their menu and it’s what we have been using for many years.
It’s one thing to have an opinion. It is unprofessional to question a developer about their ‘care,’ simply because you’d have handled it in a different way.
Starfield is a highly controversial game, due in part to the fact that it was an Xbox-exclusive title. PlayStation users have tried to change the exclusivity of this game through a petition . The game was also threatened with review bombs. Many fans are disappointed that the game is unlikely to win Game Of The Year this year at the Game Awards. They predict it will be beat by Zelda Tears of the Kingdom or Baldur’s gate 3.
Fans are eager to explore the vast Galaxy and count down the days until its release. This is especially true for those who have purchased the Contellation Edition. They will get early access.
Starfield launches officially on September 6th for Xbox and PC.
