Epic Games offers a cute little RPG and card game. See if Dodo peak or Black Book catches your attention.
Firstly, we have Dodo peak, which “reminisces on classic arcade platforms of old with a contemporary twist”, and is reminiscent of Q*Bert. The player is a Dodo parent searching for his or her missing child. They must scale the mountain while avoiding enemy attacks and collecting their children. The only way to jump is in four different directions, which means you have to be careful to not get hit.
Black Book is a charming and stylish RPG that tells an epic story based on Slavic folklore. Black Book ‘s summary reads, “Fight against evil forces and discover a world where mythological creatures live with humans.”
The player will take on the role of a young witch and create a deck full of powerful magic cards. These are used to fight evil monsters in card battles. You’ll be more successful in the battle if you have better cards. The gameplay rewards careful strategizing. You can also progress by solving puzzles.
Both fans and critics praised this title’s incredibly beautiful art style as well as its fun card-based gaming, awarding it scores of 9/10. It’s a great game for RPGS fans and card gamers, as well as anyone who wants to try something different.
