Dave Bautista , WWE star and Marvel star is leading the Gears of War campaign. Netflix announced a Gears of War film in 2022, much to the delight of fans. Nice!
Dave Bautista was the leader once again for the Gears of War Production. Netflix should give Bautista what he desires. Dave would be perfect in the Gears film, so please, do it!
We don’t yet know the story that the Gears of War film will tell. It could be a remake of the video games or a standalone movie. Also, we don’t know who will be directing this movie. Zack Snyder appears to have thrown his hat into the ring.
Snyder, who spoke to IGN this week at Gamescom about his desire to make a film based on a video game property, mentioned Gears of War. He seemed hesitant to mention the game. Is there something already in development with the director? Was he worried he would let it slip by mentioning the game? At this point, we can only speculate.
It’s worth noting that Zack Snyder has a relationship established with Netflix, with exclusive movies like Army of the Dead or Army of Thieves. The Rebel Moon films are also a must-see. Snyder and Bautista have worked together on Army of the Dead so the two would be a good match.
A recent listing for a job suggested the release of a Gears of War sequel. The original trilogy has also benefited from an Xbox multiplayer matchmaking upgrade.
Netflix should soon announce the details of both Gears of War anime and movie. Watch this space, as they say.
