It is a game where players earn points for reputation in different events in order to earn the attention of sponsors who offer them new cars. Flashbacks come back to Colin McRae: Dirt 2 and can be used at up to 5 times all difficulty levels, but costs reputation points for each use. In a new mode, gymkhana puts players in obstacle courses forcing them to master different tricks in order to earn points.
