Xbox will release 36 games for free as part of a new strategy

Xbox has announced its complete lineup of free games that are available in its new subscription program, that was launched in order to take over Xbox Live Gold.

Xbox Live Gold isn’t exactly the top game service, especially in comparison to PlayStation Plus and Xbox’s Game Pass. Live Gold offers ‘ garbage’ free games (not our word) which rarely justifies the cost. Where PlayStation Plus seems to make many wrong choices, Xbox is swapping the Live Gold for something better.

Xbox Live Gold will be replaced by Xbox Game Pass Core from 14 September. The date that those who follow the calendar know will be next week.

“For over twenty years, Xbox players have been connecting via Xbox Live to compete, cooperate, and experience the world’s biggest online multiplayer games.,” the article reads. “In 2017, we introduced Xbox Game Pass which provided a curated library of games. Game Pass Core brings online play together with Game Pass in a new offering for gamers around the world.”

Xbox Game Pass Core will have access to multiplayer online as well as a variety of 36 games. These have been officially verified.

The free games that are that will be available on Xbox Game Pass Core are:
