Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth release timetable revealed with stunning new trailer
PlayStation’s most recent State of Play event just closed although it might be lacking of first-party announcements that many people were waiting for, we were provided with an extensive update regarding the upcoming slate of third-party releases from Sony.
The game isn’t an actual State of Play for the historical books. However, we did get a great glimpse of a new version of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 ahead of its launch next month. Other games showcased in the show included Splatoon-inspired Foamstars and the weird Indie baby steps as well as Ubisoft’s forthcoming Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. The reveal was all pleasing, but there was just one highlight of the event. It’s been said that you should save the greatest for the last. Sony completed the evening with a brand-new trailer for its highly anticipated Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth not just this, but also the highly sought-after release date, too.
It’s only a matter of time to go, dear friends. It’s a big deal for Square Enix. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will be available on PlayStation 5 on 29 February 2024. The latest installment of the series “Cloud Strife and his friends have escaped the dystopian city of Midgar and embark on a new journey across the wide world of Gaia to pursue the vengeful swordsman, Sephiroth.”
On the PlayStation blog the developers teased their new synergy-based combat techniques that permit gamers “to use synergy commands and abilities freely at any time by using up a gauge charge in a similar manner to Limit Breaks.” Skills trees were also introduced in addition to “Materia with new abilities not seen in the first” game. They also have teased the Red XIII’s original’revenge gauge’ mechanic, which can be played with full power the second time.
Red XIII was an accompanying member of the game before prior to becoming officially a party member during this game. The confirmation is that, in Rebirth it will be able to acquire new members who also, just like Red XIII and Red XIII, will be accessible in the subsequent sequel. Furthermore, even though you are unable to take the Remakesave across, it’s stated that the players from the first game are able to “start with a little something extra”. Anyone else eager to get started?
