There is a sense that a lot of the information about EA can be a source of negative vibes. We reported earlier today the sackings of employees of Ascendant Studios after the poor performances in the Immortals game from Aveum. It is now reported that support for another recently released EA game, Wild Hearts which was released in the past, has been cut.

The announcement comes through an update in the official Discord and its subreddit by a moderator that reads, “What you think has been happening to the game has unfortunately transpired”. The message went on to say, “In typical EA news the game seems to have been a failure because EA didn’t wish to have a stalemate with the game for too long and gave it time, and expected that it would become the next monster hunter (Monster Hunter).”

Wild Hearts was launched in the year 2000 and has the Metascore of 79 which is quite impressive for a brand-new IP. The goal was to build the popularity that was Monster Hunter which has been the mainstay of the way in the genre of fantasy hunter that it has defined, and with the intention of bringing new players to this type of game.

Maybe a sign that games are of high-quality as well as the turbulent nature of the game industry by 2023, this may be bad information for those playing Wild Hearts.

The discussion to Discord as well as Reddit was concluded with a summary of the issue “Seems that it hasn’t turned into the multi-million dollar event they hoped for, and they do not want to show it the time and attention it needs to develop.”

Although there’s been no confirmation from EA but it’s not easy to dismiss messages that are posted through the official channel. If the worst comes to worst, we hope the servers are up and secure, but it’s unlikely that we’ll get any brand new content.

The news can, at least for the moment, be taken with a smile until an official announcement is made from EA or Omega Force, the Wild Hearts developer Omega Force.
