A massive GTA 6 leak confirms a number of brand new gameplay mechanics

We’re back for another day, which implies we’re faced with another new mountain of Grand Theft Auto VI news and leaks filter through.

It’s no wonder that there are a myriad of rumours making the rounds on an almost regular basis in relation to the next installment of Rockstar Games’ ever-popular Grand Theft Auto series. However until Rockstar Games provides fans with an official GTA VI release date, news information or trailer, the gossip mill will go on till the very end of the day.

The last official announcement we’ve received about Rockstar Games was back in February 2022 when the company stated that it was currently making progress on GTA VI. Unfortunately, no additional information was provided, or even any news since, therefore, here we are in the midst of another set of rumors. Prior to proceeding with the following speculations, they should be treated with a pinch salt unless proven otherwise.

The most recent leak comes from an Google Doc which is full with claims of information regarding GTA VI by a small group of unknown people. If or not these details are authentic, it’s a good idea to keep the information secret as it safeguards individuals who could face legal action by Rockstar Games or its parent company, Take-Two Interactive.

The file in question is an immediate result of the famous leaks in the game and serves as an easy breakdown of the details that have been reported regarding GTA V in the years since. It states that a few features that are in Grand Theft Auto VI are brand new while some may come out of Red Dead Redemption 2.

Here’s a look at some of the gameplay mechanics of GTA VI:

Players can collect loot bags as well as fall NPCs like that of the Red Dead Redemption series. Before, if an NPC was killed within GTA the weapons and money were floating around the NPC. The report also states that the players can carry dead NPCs.
GTA VI will include “Loot Bags” for the character playables, Jason and Lucia for storing things inside. Essentially, gamers are able to keep the items they steal inside a duffle bag.
It is possible for players to protect their faces with weapons so that they can defend them from attack. The same can be performed while kneeling.
Players can be revived when they are in a state of decline, which is identical to how Arthur recovers his horse from death when he is revived in Red Dead Redemption 2.. Additionally, it will feature Pin mechanic and a buddy system.
It is possible to switch shoulders during shooting and even engage in grappling when fighting for the first time. There is also the option of free-aiming when shooting through an automobile window. It is said as being similar in the same way as GTA San Andreas.
GTA VI will include an “Eagle Eye System’ which is supposed to show things of interest, including items of loot as well as security cameras.
It could be that Jason has a heavier and muscular system that results in Jason having more muscle and being more powerful than Lucia. Therefore, it is safe to speculate that Lucia might be more agile and athletic. The idea of a MultiGym was also suggested and we could see the same system as the GTA system in San Andreas in where athletes could increase their CJ through the gym or gain weight when the player eats too much? The only way to know is time.
According to other news reports, an unimportant but crucial feature could create Grand Theft Auto VI the most realistic entry of the series to date as it’s said that the game will boast a staggering 7500GB of files! It’s a bit iffy about this.

It is anticipated for GTA VI will launch in 2024-2025 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
