Cyberpunk 2077 players now have access to one setting that could drastically enhance their game play experience.
Since Cyberpunk 2077’s 2.0 update and subsequent Phantom Liberty expansion launch, thousands of players are flocking back into its world to test out its controls once again – yet some players find them difficult to master.
Cyberpunk 2077’s popularity is surging since its initial launch in 2020, drawing players back into Night City to experience its many new features. From improvements in driving controls and vehicular combat to all of the weapons added with updates and expansion packs; players have returned in droves! However, some have noticed laggy control responses.
Reddit user @r/PS5 shared some technical fixes they have discovered for Cyberpunk 2077 on console, explaining their enjoyment while experiencing “lagginess” of controls and working out this is due to 20% of game’s sticks not registering movement and therefore forcing players to press harder on analog sticks for precise movements. After making adjustments for better console player experience they came up with setting adjustments which should help the experience more.
“Within deadzone parameters of 0.95 for horizontal sensitivity and 7 for vertical, these results indicate an inner deadzone deadzone of 0.05″.
Horizontal/Vertical Turning Bonus and Turning Ramp up/Delay all set at zero,” they stated in their post. Furthermore, they provided players having difficulty with vehicle acceleration with a solution: in First Person Camera under Controls they advised setting Horizontal/Vertical Turning Bonus + Vertical Turning Bonus ”Turning Ramp-Up & Delay. ‘Together these will create vehicle acceleration issues.
Reddit comments provide additional suggestions to those trying the settings; many claim that since CD Projekt Red’s base game revamp, their game runs more smoothly in terms of performance compared to prior updates. This improvement alone is just one aspect CD Projekt Red is working to enhance with their base game overhaul.
