PlayStation Plus October free games make an immense improvement to its core product.
Time seems to fly, as is evidenced by each new PlayStation Plus drop. I can hardly believe how quickly time passes since just last month I announced September’s line-up! Now we are on to October!
September’s PlayStation Plus essential tier offerings consisted of Saints Row (2022), Black Desert Traveler Edition and Generation Zero; not exactly an exciting selection given how its price has recently skyrocketed by nearly one third (and 600% in certain territories) over just the past month or two; many subscribers feel this doesn’t justify such drastic price rise. Furthermore, September’s extra and premium tier selection wasn’t much better with titles such as NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139…, 13 Sentinels Aegis Rim Sid Meier Civilization VI Star Ocean The Divine Force and Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2… among its headliners.
Today we take a closer look at October’s offerings. While the full essential tier lineup won’t be revealed until tomorrow, trusted leaker billbil-kun has taken to Twitter early with two titles from this month – making a marked improvement on last month. At least partially.
Billbil-kun has revealed that The Callisto Protocol and Farming Simulator 22 will both be added to their subscription service next month, making for some exciting additions that fans of both titles are sure to welcome with open arms! Especially The Callisto Protocol seems like a fantastic choice given how recently it released. Likewise I don’t expect Farming Simulator 22 will become as widely popular but who knows.
At this stage, until Sony confirms these games officially, take all leaks with a grain of salt; but billbil-kun has proven accurate month after month.
